BHEKI NGWENYA
I aspire to create beautiful films that consist of the marginalised beauty carried by the people of colour. At the age of 14, I wanted to become a photographer. Growing up with the poetic and picturesque horizons of Africa, I saw the beauty of the world we live in. Fortunately, The Most High has given and keeps giving me opportunities to pursue my visions and gifts. The way I acquire my imagery is based on the sentiment of painting with strips of film, electronic sensors and glass. I approach photographs as if I were a painter. Despite the knowledge above, I aim to carry on improving everyday.
